Blogs appeal because they have an on going story format like watching or reading a serial. People like to know more information will be revealed especially if it has a personal appeal.
Web pages provide links to certain places and sites. They are more static, and usually provide information rather than opinions. The pages may have a calendar, site to access materials or information, and may also include opportunity for connecting with the site designer or creator.
